How do the courses work?
Our courses are very easy to use. Simply read each page and click the next button to move through the course. If your state requires a timer, then your course will have a timer to ensure you have spent the correct amount of time in the course.

Can I stop the course and come back later?
Yes, of course! The course can be started and stopped as needed. To stop the course, simply logout, and when you log back in, the system will remember where you left off.

Is this the right course for me?
More than likely, yes! We sell thousands of courses every year. We only sell courses that will meet the requirements they say they will. If the course is available for purchase, then it will work for you.

Does this course have an exam?
Some states require an exam. Others don’t. If your state does not require an exam, it won’t be included in your course. Texas, Georgia, Nebraska, North Carolina, Wisconsin do NOT require an exam. Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Ohio do require an exam.

Where do I get a username and password?
You will create your username and password during the registration process. Your first step is to add a course to your shopping cart and then you will be prompted to create a profile.

Can I register for a course without a username or password?
No. In order to take a course, you need to have a username and password. When you register for courses, you will create a username and password for yourself. If you’d like to take a course:

  1. Select your state
  2. Decide which course you would like to take.
  3. Click on the “Purchase” button.
  4. Fill in your registration information and your billing information.
    • Your email address will be your username.
  5. Start your course!


Can I register and pay for another person?
Yes! During the registration process, you can create a profile for the person taking the course and then change the billing information to whoever is paying. The registration will remain in the name of the person who has registered for the course. If you are interested in registering a group of people, please contact us Here.

Why should I pay for Guaranteed 24-hour Reporting?
Some states like Texas allow a continuing education provider 7 days to report the courses. While we try to report our students as soon as possible, if you need your course reported quickly, we now offer guaranteed reporting within 24 hours of completion for a small fee of $5.

Why should I pay for a Professionally Printed Certificate?
We now offer a professionally printed certificate that you can hang at your work station to show your clients that you are up-to-date with the latest information and state requirements. These certificates are typically mailed within 7 days of course completion.

How do I register multiple students at one time?
To register multiple students, please contact us Here.

How do I pay for the course?
You can pay for the course by credit card. If you are a corporate client that is signing up multiple students, you can set up a corporate billing account and be invoiced for your purchase at the end of each month. For more information, please contact our sales department at 512-814-6540.

How do my credits get reported to the state?
If you live in Texas or Kentucky, your credits will be reported by us on a daily basis. If you live in Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Georgia, or Nebraska you are responsible for reporting your credits to the state.

What happens if I fail the exam?
If you study the material, you should have no problem passing the exam. If you do not pass, there is no penalty. You just take the exam again until you pass.

When I complete the course, should I print a copy of my class certification?
As a general rule, we highly encourage all students to print their certification paperwork and retain that certification in a secure area.

I lost my certificate; how do I get another one?
You may log back in and print an additional certificate. If you are having difficulty you can call 512-814-6540.

How do I go back and reprint my certificate of course completion?
Go to and log in using your username and password. Click on the certificate icon below the exam results.

I forgot my Username and Password. What do I do?
Click on the “forgot password” link below the student login. Then enter your email address. You should receive an email stating your password. If you have forgotten your username and password, please contact customer support Here.

Does the course work on an iPhone or iPad?
Of course it does! You can use any internet connected device to take our courses. All you need is a browser and internet connection.

What materials come with the cosmetology courses?
No printed materials come with any of the courses; all of the material is online.

I’m having a difficult time, and I just want to talk to customer support. Will someone pick up the phone?
Absolutely! Our customer support is based in Austin, Texas. We always try to pick up the phone by the second ring. If we miss you, simply leave your name, number and reason for the call and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
