Every two years, at every renewal after your first.
Your first renewal is exempt. Georgia licenses expire every two years and must be renewed by the expiration date to stay active. See our Georgia renewal guide for step-by-step help.
Are your courses approved by the Georgia Board?
Yes. We're Board-approved CE provider CEP-000263, listed on the Board's 2026–2027 approved provider list, and each course has its own Georgia approval number.
Which course do I need?
Most people need the 5-hour package. If you already completed some hours, take just the 3-hour Health and Safety course or the 2-hour Essentials course.
Is there an exam?
No. Complete the course and download your certificate.
Do I need CE for my first renewal?
No. Georgia requires the 5 hours at every renewal after your first.
How much does it cost?
With code CosmoGA: the 5-hour package is $29, Health and Safety is $19 (regular $25), and Essentials is $10 (regular $15). A printed certificate is an optional $10 add-on.
How do I renew once I'm done?
Keep your certificate and renew online in GOALS, the Georgia Secretary of State's licensing system, before your license expires.
